Functions

The Technical Secretary-General is responsible, under the immediate dependency of the Under-secretary, for the common services established in Royal decree of the structure of the department and, in any case, those relating to legal production, legal assistance and publications, as established in article 65 of Law 40/2015, of 1 October, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector.

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Law, University of Murcia (1995).

Higher Degree as expert in development cooperation planning and project management in the fields of education, scientific and cultural organization (UNED-OEI 2004).

Member of the Higher Corps of Civil Administrators of the State since 2002.

Professional experience

Technical Secretary-General at the Ministry of Territorial Policy since septembre 2021.

Since 2013 she served as Deputy Director-General of Reports and Policy Development in the Technical Secretariat-General of the Ministry of Economic and Digital Transformation.

Furthermore, in 2012 she was Adviser at the support unit of the Technical Secretariat-General. Previously (2008-2011) she served as Adviser at the Subdirectorate General for Financial Legislation and Policy and at the Subdirectorate General for Extraordinary Economic Measures in the Directorate General of the Treasury and Financial Policy. She has also been adviser (2006-2008) at the Technical Cabinet of Undersecretary of the Interior, and she had (2002-2006) positions involving different responsibility in the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Subdirectorate General of Management of Collections and Payments of the State), in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport  (Subdirectorate for International Cooperation) and in the Ministry of Justice (Subdirectorate of Justice Affairs in the European Union and International Agencies).

She has been coordinator and teaching technical legislation and better regulation at the Master's degree in Civil Administration of the State (INAP-UIMP) and she has participated in publications at the Revista Iberoamericana de Mercado de Valores and in the Bulletin of the National Securities Market Commission.
